And its almost gone!

Wow! What a freaking year I've had. Not only have I become a home owner, a hustler and a better husband; I am a father! The past 10 months have been an absolute blast raising Aiden Brice and growing more aware of what this life and world really is has been eye opening.

So Boom! A lot of other things have changed I haven't been Home for two Christmases and although my Sorrel and Peanut Punch needs have been filled; a brother needs some black cake (hold the rum) just like Momma makes it. I gave gifts and got some not only did I get a fly new Avirex track jacket I also got me Decoded - Jay Z's new book. The only reason I haven't torn into it yet is that I have just been way to busy reading my NOOK.

The drama that ensued for me to get this product alone is better left for another blog post entirely. E book readers are funny though I still need a light to read it in the dark but I am gonna have so much space left when its time to fly again (I hate! hate traveling with luggage so all I need now is macbook pro *hint)

It's amazing how much traveling and working spending time and investing in yourself can have an effect on your day to day. There have been times when I felt like joining the rat race and keep a blind eye to what motivates me and what I'm passionate about.

But passion is the main this the key ingredient to this life. Find the one thing that you would if you had all the money in the world, figure out what it is you would do if you knew you had 6 months left to live. One of the hard parts is figuring that thing out and being proud of it. The really hard part is FOCUSING on it and do it.

I'm done with multitasking and trying to make a million things happen, I will get things done and I will wear many hats but I only got one head so its one hat at a time.

A video on states that you shouldn't really share your goals it actually stops you from achieving them. So instead of giving you a list of what I want to do or be I will just do it.

Here is a new song I heard from EM, J, Dre, 50, Stat Quo and Cashis called Syallables its fire ENJOY

"Roads! Where we're going we don't need ROADS!!" Peace out 2010!

I feel like I've got a million excuses as to why I have stopped blogging. But thats all they are excuses you guys might care but its still not fair because everything that I have been busy doing I should have been taking the time to tell you all about it.

I have been tweeting and facebooking so if you are connected to me there you been getting drips and drabs (wtf is a drab anyways) of information. Please follow me on twitter I am begging you (well im not begging but I would really appreciate it if you do)

Today I found out that you can follow too many people WOW! I think it has to do with some kinda ratio.

So here is some of the things that have been popping. Since my return from the TAXI ROAD RALLY in LA and meeting some really talented people. I have directed my efforts towards NASHVILLE. For a few weeks now I have been working on my first official demo with Ben Olson and the guys over at NASHVILLE DEMO STUDIOS. Its just great skyping into a studio and making magic happen. I think we are two sessions a way from a great song.

I would like to thank my FACEBOOK people for helping me choose the song "guilty" to be the one to be sent off to TN to be giving an all star treatment.

Top that off with the fact that I work retail during XMAS my goodness you dont know half of the things I been seeing. Black Friday was an absolute trip!

I have also been getting my book on just wrapped up Dude McLean's "The Songwriter's Survival Guide To Success: How To Pitch Your Songs". It is a really straight forward go out there and get it type of book, stick with me as I follow the steps in this book and others on my musical journey.

Shout outs to all my fans and supporters. Have a very very MERRY Christmas!!!! We winning in this NEW YEAR as always.......

Titanium Headphones -

The Idea: The SA7 Wireless Hybrid Earphones are made from aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber, making them the strongest, most durable headphones on the block. Not only are they made from "military grade" materials, they don't have wires and can be tuned for perfect sound. They also can go through the wash.

No Comment :: LIL WAYNE First Artist Since TUPAC To Have #1 Album While In Jail

I've become so tired of this crime culture we are all embracing. From T.I. going back to jail, the recent coke busts and what not, I just don't know if the system is really against these guys or if they are against themselves. Yet again we as musicians have to show off our achievements from prison cells and through mug shots. Is it really worth it? Sometimes I just don't know; I take that back its NOT!

The 15 Scariest Music Videos via

We expect scary videos from Ozzy, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, but the dark side isn't just relegated to those with a spooky musical flair. Pop stars like Michael Jackson and Chris Brown have gotten in on the haunted fun, turning in clips that range from the cheesy-eerie to the downright terrifying. Even a rock band, Soundgarden, stepped up with one of the downright creepiest videos ever. In honor of Halloween, we've compiled 15 of the scariest music videos ever created. We'd like to consider them a suitable replacement for Halloween music, since you can only hear "Monster Mash" so many times before it makes you want to rip your costume off and call it a night. Watch these 15 if you dare.

So You're a Musician - REALLY!

Dang... the last time I posted was last Wednesday..I am definitely slacking. For those of you that have been checking out the site you will notice a few new links I got one page for you to join the mailing list and another to purchase some BANGIN' BEATS .... make sure you do one of the two before you hit the sack tonight, it would be really appreciated.

First lemme post this cool article that I read from NPR entitled 'So You're a Musician' here is a little preview

'So You're A Musician? Sweet Gig!' By Sarah Scanlon -- "So, what do you do for a living?" While this has to be one of the world's most awkward and unimaginative icebreakers, it poses a particularly daunting task for professional musicians. You can see the wheels in our heads spinning as we summon the energy and diplomatic skill needed to explain our complex and unorthodox career to someone who is most likely unfamiliar with this tiny niche of the workforce. ... I think it's one of the most important issues professional musicians face today: educating the general public to the services musicians provide and overcoming misconceptions about the nature of who we are; what we do; and exactly how much effort goes into our craft/art. READ MORE

Last night whilst watching my ROKU I came across Young Hollywood doing a better rendition of WE ARE THE WORLD then that BIEBER intro'd crew so I thought you guys should check that out as well

"Thank God I'm Black" By Stephen Dantes

If today I ask for God to make me a different race
I’d choose to be black all over again
I love all races just the same
But being me has much to gain;
Maybe slavery wasn’t in vain
Or maybe this time I had shelter from the rain

See yesterday I took the train
From New York to Quebec
To cross the border with my Godfather
And visit dear old Canada
And there were these Asians on board
All young, charismatic and fun

But upon the crossing to the great Maple state
I saw the excitement disappear as tears drew near
Three were taken away and sent back
To wherever, but definitely not Canada
And we felt like they had just robbed us all
As we saw our brothers and sister fall

See today I took the train,
To head back to Penn Station, New York
It was yet another wait station
And this time,
Yet again,
It was Asian
This time, two
They looked Chinese
Maybe Korean
Or Japanese
Shit I can’t even tell cause they all look the same to me.

Then tears of rain,
As he was lead with his female companion
In chains
But definitely not to America
And we all felt the shame
As yet another brother and sister were taken
To suffer much
The pain

Head over to my buddy Stephen Dantes' website to view more of his work.

Court rules in favor of Eminem

This is great news for anyone that sells their music online.

Court ruling could mean millions in online royalties for Eminem, other artists| Detroit Free Press

Eminem probably thought he'd be waking up this morning to focus entirely on his concert tonight at Comerica Park. Instead he got a bit of unexpected news from a federal appeals court in California: some major money could be headed his way. The decision, which one Eminem attorney calls an "earthquake" for the music industry, could transform the online song business and boost the fortunes of untold numbers of artists.

Now on the other hand Youtube just got hit hard
AP - A German court ruled Friday that Google Inc.'s subsidiary YouTube LLC must pay compensation after users uploaded several videos of performances by singer Sarah Brightman in violation of copyright laws.

Sherwinn Brice is an accomplished

Where do I even start I have accomplished so much started quite a lot and finished so little. As of recently I became a father and in all honesty its and interesting feeling. Its a game changer of sorts and its a new rank for any body in this journey of maturity and adulthood. It's a new feeling of selfishness and a heavier weight of responsibility.

All I seem to do now is work to keep the bills paid and the food on the table and with reason. Its what I got to do right now. But I can't leave my 'raisin in the sun' I'm not in the mood at all to defer my dreams I'm pushing through still. If I was stubborn enough to get where I am now I will remain ever stubborn push towards my goal of success.

I guess I'm just venting for now. If there is more to be said I will say it eventually.

Mixerman Chronicles

I have been on a tear recently reading like crazy. In the usual and most unusual places and times. Reading is becoming a lost art so is the general art of speaking. As a semi-blogger here is a book I think anyone with any love for the music biz should check out.

Its called Mixerman its a true story with fake names and an interesting outcome. Check out the link for more info and give the book a shot.

Mixerman is a hilarious tale of a mixing engineer working with a rock band with a crazy producer and a very incompetent assistance. It gives real insight on the process of creating and some of the issues anyone in the business deals.

It was a quick read maybe because it speaks on stuff that I can relate to and the ending was really informative. I kept trying to find out who the real band was.

Enjoy it if you can!
